At the age of 12, Trey S. discovered the saxophone. It was in the church that Trey honed his music skills early in his playing. In high school, Trey placed first in the instrumental music category for the International Garrison Award. Also, during his freshman year of college he was awarded the John F. Why I Work Well with Kids

Working well with children is something that I take a lot of pride in, but its also not for everyone. Children love learning how to do things in their own way and at their own pace. A lot of teachers can not adapt well with different types of children and I would say that ability is one of my strong suits. I rely on inspiration and encouragement to push my students forward on their musical journeys. My youthfulness makes me more relatable to children, but that does not blemish my expectation, which parents tend to love about me.
