I am currently working as a graduate assistant at The Catholic University of America and I will be obtaining my Masters in Music this spring. My undergraduate is in Music Education, Piano. I obtained the degree from the University of Maine and continued on to teaching. I now work as an organist and director of music for The Catholic University of America in conjunction with the graduate assistant-ship. I have made several national television appearances on the EWTN network as director of music for several events. I continue to cultivate my love of teaching music at CUA by passing on my knowledge of music on to the undergraduates.
I have a deep love for passing on the art of music making. In 2011 I left for college to obtain a bachelor’s in music education so I could teach full time. During college I also ran a private studio in which I taught the local kids how to play piano and gave lessons for their band instruments. This activity set me on the course to teach as many students as I can through my musical career. I have a special interest in teaching students who are at the beginning stages of their musical endeavor. I believe that the most crucial teaching happens at the beginning because it sets the course for the rest of the students musical experience.
